Information We Collect

TaxProProof does not require accounts, logins, or personal information to use. We collect minimal data:

• Analytics: Anonymous page views via Google Analytics (no personal identifiers)
• Find a Tax Pro: When you use the recommendation feature, your ZIP code is sent to our server to match nearby preparers. We do not store ZIP codes or search history.
• Contact form/email: If you email us, we retain your message to respond and process requests.

We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not sell, share, or monetize any visitor data.

Data Displayed on This Site

All tax preparer information comes from publicly available government sources:

• The IRS Consolidated PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) list
• State tax-preparer registries and licensing boards
• The IRS Return Preparer Office public data

This is public record data that anyone can access from government sources. We organize and present it in a consumer-friendly format.

Listing Removal & Corrections

If you are listed on this site and would like your profile removed or corrected, email us at support@weblabra.com with:

• Your full name as it appears on the listing
• The URL of the listing you want removed or corrected
• A brief note describing the change or requesting removal

We process requests on a weekly basis. Your listing will typically be updated or removed within 7 business days. Once removed, your profile will not reappear in future data updates.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics: Anonymous traffic measurement. Google's privacy policy
• Vercel: Website hosting and content delivery. Vercel's privacy policy

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data from visitors, there is generally nothing to delete or export. If you are a listed preparer and want your public record listing removed, see the "Listing Removal" section above. California residents (CCPA) and EU residents (GDPR) may contact us at support@weblabra.com for any data-related requests.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes are effective when posted. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
